Cubs Use The Long Ball To Knock Off The Brew Crew

(MILWAUKEE, WI) - The Chicago Cubs hit five home runs off Milwaukee starter Randy Wolf in a 9-4 victory over the Brewers.

Marlon Byrd and Geovany Soto hit two homers and drove in three runs apiece.

Derrek Lee hammered a two-run shot off Wolf for career home run number 300.

Carlos Zambrano went five innings, allowing three runs on two hits and five walks to improve to 3-4.

Wolf allowed eight runs in his four and two-thirds innings of work to fall to 4-7.
