Astros Take Early Lead And Hold Off Cubs

(HOUSTON, TX) - The Houston Astros scored three runs in the first and three in the sixth as they defeated the Chicago Cubs 6-3.

Carlos Lee capped the first inning with a two-run shot off Cubs starter Randy Wells.

Chicago would get two runs back on a Starlin Castro sacrifice fly in the second and a Koyie Hill RBI double in the fourth.

Houston blew the game open in the sixth with an RBI single by Hunter Pence and a two-run single from Pedro Feliz as the Astros took two of three in the series.

Brett Myers got the win to improve to 4-3 while wells drops to 3-4.
