Talbott Pitches Indians Past White Sox

(CLEVELAND, OH) - Mitch Talbott pitched seven strong innings as the Cleveland Indians beat the Chicago White Sox 7-3.

The Indians scored three times in the third inning on solo home runs by Jason Donald and Shin-Soo Choo and an RBI single by Russell Branyan.

The Indians would make it 6-0 before the Sox clawed back with RBI doubles from Andruw Jones and Mark Kotsay in the seventh and Alexei Ramirez in the eighth.

Luis Valbuena drove in Cleveland's final run in the eighth and finished with two runs batted in.

Talbott allowed two runs on six hits to improve to 6-3.

Jake Peavy allowed six runs on eight hits over six innings to fall to 3-4.
