Scott Rolen followed with a sacrifice fly and Jonny Gomes capped the big inning with a three-run home run.

Milwaukee would get a pair of runs in the ninth but Francisco Cordero came on to get the final two outs and pick up his 13th save.

Johnny Cueto got the win to improve to 3-1 as Cincinnati extended its winning streak to three games.

Corey Hart hit a pair of solo homers for the Brewers, who have lost seven in a row.
