Nix's Grand Slam Pushes White Sox Past Rays

(ST. PETERSBURG, FL) - Jayson Nix hit a go-ahead grand slam in the top of the sixth inning as the Chicago White Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 8-5.

Alex Rios added a solo shot and drove in two as the Sox took two of three in the series.

Jake Peavy evened his record at 4-4, allowing five runs on ten hits over five and-a-third innings of work.

Ben Zobrist hit a solo shot and drove in two for the Rays.
