(CHICAGO, IL) - Andruw Jones and Alex Rios powered the Chicago White Sox past the Kansas City Royals 9-2.

Jones put the White Sox ahead to stay with a two-run homer off Royals starter Brian Bannister in Chicago's four-run bottom of the first.

Jones would finish with three runs batted in as would Rios, who hit a sacrifice fly in the fourth to go with a two-run bomb in the sixth.

Freddy Garcia picked up his first win of the season, allowing two runs on ten hits in six innings of work to move to 1-2.

Brian Bannister gave up seven earned runs over three-plus innings to fall to 1-2.
