Last updated on Wednesday, April 7, 2010

(UNDATED) - In Major League Baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds resume their three-game series this evening at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.

The Cardinals won Monday's season-opener 11-6 on the strength of a pair of home runs from Albert Pujols and a grand slam by Yadier Molina.

Joey Votto and Scott Rolen hit solo shots for the Reds on Monday afternoon.

Cincinnati will send Johnny Cueto to the mound tonight while Adam Wainwright starts for St. Louis.

The Chicago Cubs look for their first win of the season as they face the Atlanta Braves tonight at Turner Field.

The Braves roughed up Carlos Zambrano in Monday's regular season opener, scoring eight earned runs in the first inning and a third.

Rookie Jason Heyward opened his big league career in stunning fashion by lining a Zambrano pitch over the wall for a three-run homer in his first major league at bat.

Jair Jurrjens will get the start for the braves tonight with Ryan Dempster starting for the Cubs.

The Chicago White Sox look to open their season with back-to-back wins as they host the Cleveland Indians tonight.

The Sox got seven innings of three-hit pitching from Mark Buehrle on Monday afternoon as they blanked the Indians 6-0.

Chicago will be looking for a similar performance tonight from Jake Peavy, who begins his first full year in a White Sox uniform after being acquired from San Diego last season.

Fausto Carmona will get the start for Cleveland.
