Hernandez And Nationals Snap Cubs Four Game Winning Streak

(CHICAGO, IL) - The Chicago Cubs had their four-game winning streak snapped as they lost the Washington Nationals 3-1 at Wrigley Field.

Livan Hernandez pitched seven innings, allowing a run on six hits to improve to 3-1.

Ian Desmond had a pair of RBI singles and Cristian Guzman hit an RBI triple to account for the Nationals' offense.

Tom Gorzelanny pitched well, allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings, but took the loss to fall to 0-3.
