(TALLADEGA, AL) - Kevin Harvick passed Jamie McMurray at the finish line to win Sunday's Nascar Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway.

McMurray had the lead on the restart for a third and final attempt at a green-white-checkered finish.

Harvick stayed on his back bumper for the final two laps before moving underneath in the tri-oval and edging McMurray by eleven-thousandths of a second to get his first win of the season.

Juan Pablo Montoya finished third followed by Denny Hamlin and Mark Martin.

Jimmie Johnson finished 31st after being involved in an accident late.

Johnson holds a 26-point lead over Harvick in the Sprint Cup points standings.
