Cubs Pound Brewers To Complete Three Game Sweep

(MILWAUKEE, WI) - The Chicago Cubs pounded out 18 hits, including four home runs as they pounded the Milwaukee Brewers 12-2 to complete a three-game series sweep at Miller Park.

Ryan Theriot had five hits and drove in three runs with rookie Tyler Colvin hitting a solo homer and also driving in three.

Kosuke Fukudome and Derrek Lee added two-run home runs with Geovany Soto hitting a solo shot as well.

Randy Wells picked up the win, allowing two runs on seven hits to improve to 2-0.

Milwaukee starter Dave Bush gave up seven earned runs on ten hits over three and two-thirds innings to take the loss, falling to 1-1.
