Butler Takes On Injury Plagued Michigan State In Final Four

Last updated on Friday, April 2, 2010

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Butler Bulldogs will face the Michigan State Spartans in Saturday’s first national semifinal game.

The Bulldogs own the longest current winning streak in men's college basketball at 24 in a row. Butler is making its first appearance in the Final Four.

Michigan State is in the Final Four for the sixth time in the last twelve years.

The Spartans advanced to the national semifinals despite losing starting point guard Kalin Lucas to an Achilles injury in a second-round win over Maryland.

Sophomore Korie Lucious has taken over at the point and hit the game-winning three-pointer against the Terrapins.
