Purdue Struggles Without Hummel, Win Streak Snapped

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The third-ranked Purdue Boilermakers had their ten-game winning streak snapped by number-ten Michigan State 53-44 at Mackey Arena.

Raymar Morgan led the Spartans with 16 points and eleven rebounds with Draymond Green also getting a double-double with twelve points and eleven boards.

E'Twaun Moore led Purdue with twelve points as the Boilers played without Robbie Hummel, who was lost for the season with a torn ACL in Wednesday's win at Minnesota.

Chris Kramer and JaJuan Johnson finished with eleven points apiece.

Michigan State improves to 22-7, 12-4 in the Big Ten while the Boilers drop to 24-4, 12-4 in the conference.

Purdue and Michigan State trail Ohio State by a half-game for the Big Ten lead entering the final week of the regular season.

Purdue hosts Indiana on Wednesday night.
