(SOUTH BEND, IN) - The Notre Dame women’s basketball team hosts Vermont this evening in round two of the NCAA Tournament at the Joyce Center.
The second-seeded fighting Irish blew open a close game in the second half as they pulled away to an 86-58 win over the 15 seed Cleveland State on Sunday afternoon.
The Catamounts are the tenth seeded and are coming off their first NCAA tournament win, a 64-55 upset of seventh seeded Wisconsin on Sunday.
This evening's winner will take on the winner of tonight's game between Oklahoma and Arkansas-Little Rock on Sunday in the Kansas City regional semifinal.
