(SAO PAULO, BRAZIL) - The Izod Indycar Series opens its season Sunday as they race through the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Practice and qualifying are scheduled for Saturday.

The first four races this season will be on road or street courses.

That will be followed by four races on ovals, including Indianapolis.

Five more road courses will follow with the final four races being contested on ovals.
