Ball State Finishes The Regular Season On A Three Game Skid

(KALAMAZOO, MI) - The Ball State Cardinals wrapped up the regular season by suffering their third-straight setback, falling at Western Michigan 67-52.

David Kool led the Broncos with 16 points with Martelle McLemore finishing with 14 points and Flenard Whitfield adding twelve.

Randy Davis was the only Ball State player to reach double figures, finishing with a game-high 23 points.

Central Michigan's win at Eastern Michigan gives the Chippewas the regular season championship in the MAC-West at 9-7.

The Cardinals finish in a three-way tie for second place in the division at 8-8 along with Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan.

Ball State has the number-eight seed in the Mid-American Conference tournament and will host the Ohio Bobcats on Sunday.
