Last updated on Tuesday, February 23, 2010

(DALLAS, TX) - Dirk Nowitzki scored 23 points and Brendan Haywood added 13 points and 20 rebounds as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Indiana Pacers 91-82.

The Mavericks scored the first six points of the game and never trailed en route to their fourth-straight win.

TJ Ford led Indiana with 14 points off the bench despite hitting just three of his eleven attempts from the field.

Troy Murphy added ten points and eleven rebounds as the Pacers lose for the fifth time in their last six games to fall to 19-37.

The Blue and Gold's four-game road trip wraps up Wednesday night when they take on the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

The Pacers were without leading scorer Danny Granger last night in Dallas.

Granger missed the game for undisclosed personal reasons.

It is not known if he will be available for the finale of the road trip tomorrow night in Chicago.

Granger averages just under 23 points per game and was coming off a 36-point performance in Indiana's win at Houston on Saturday night.
