Eastern Michigan Snaps Ball State's Winning Streak

(MUNCIE, IN) - The Ball State Cardinals had their three-game winning streak halted as they lost at home to Eastern Michigan 72-67.

Brandon Bowdry led the Eagles with 16 points and 13 rebounds with Antonio Green and Carlos Medlock adding 15 points apiece as Eastern Michigan improves to 15-13, 7-7 in the Mid-American Conference.

Randy Davis led Ball State with 16 points with Jarrod Jones finishing with 14 as the Cardinals fall to 15-12, 8-6 in the MAC.

The Ball State loss combined with Central Michigan's win at Northern Illinois pulls the Chippewas into a tie with the Cardinals atop the MAC-West with Eastern Michigan one game behind.

Ball State is at Toledo on Saturday night.
