Bulldogs Blow Out Loyola To Clinch Share Of Conference Crown

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Butler Bulldogs clinched at least a share of their fourth-straight Horizon League regular season championship with a 62-47 win over Loyola at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Matt Howard led the 15th-ranked Bulldogs with 20 points with Willie Veasley adding twelve as Butler won its 13th game in a row to improve to 21-4, 14-0 in conference play.

None of the Ramblers reached double figures with Geoff McCammon scoring a team-high nine as Loyola falls to 13-11, 4-10 in the Horizon.

The Bulldogs can clinch the title outright on Thursday night when they hit the road to face Youngstown State.
