(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana High School Athletic Association has announced Saturday’s semi-state assignments for the 16 teams that are still alive in the girls basketball state tournament.
Elkhart Central will host a class 3A semi-state between Griffith and Fort Wayne Concordia followed by a 4A game pitting Merrillville and Fort Wayne Snider.
At Warsaw, the 1A game between Fort Wayne Canterbury and Turkey Run followed by a 2A game with Winamac facing Fort Wayne Luers.
At Southport, Winchester will open the session against Austin in a class 2A semi-state followed by the 4A game between Ben Davis and Floyd Central.
The final site is Bedford North Lawrence where Waldron takes on Vincennes Rivet in a 1A semi-state followed by a 3A game between Rushville and Evansville Memorial.
Saturday's winners advance to the state finals, which will be held in Fort Wayne on March sixth.
