(EVANSVILLE, IN) - Jackie Carmichael score 20 points and Osiris Eldridge added 18 points and eight rebounds as the Illinois State Redbirds beat the Evansville Purple Aces 82-63 at Roberts Stadium.
Lloyd Phillips added eleven points and nine assists for the Redbirds, who improve to 12-3 overall and 3-1 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
Denver Holmes led the Aces with 23 points with Colt Ryan finishing with twelve as Evansville lost its fifth game in a row to drop to 6-8, 0-4 in the MVC.
The Aces are on the road at Indiana State on Sunday afternoon.
