Last updated on Thursday, January 21, 2010

(ORLANDO, FL) - Dwight Howard scored 32 points and grabbed eleven rebounds to lead the Orlando Magic past the Indiana Pacers 109-98 in Orlando.

For the second consecutive night, the Pacers never led as the Magic scored the first five points of the game and led by 20 points at the end of the first quarter.

Orlando would draw the lead out to 29 points in the second quarter before Indiana would close the gap in the fourth.

The Pacers opened the period with a 14-2 run to close the game to eight with six and-a-half minutes remaining, but they would get no closer as they lose on the road for the eleventh time in twelve games.

Rashard Lewis added 18 points as the Magic snapped a three-game losing streak.

Danny Granger led Indiana with 25 points with Troy Murphy finishing with 17 points and ten rebounds and Dahntay Jones also scoring 17 points.

The Pacers have lost three in a row to fall to 14-28.

Their three-game road trip concludes Friday night when they face the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
