Boilermakers Blast Cougars To Remain Unbeaten

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The fourth-ranked Purdue Boilermakers built a big lead in the first half and cruised to a 90-63 win over SIU Edwardsville at Mackey Arena.

The Boilers held the Cougars scoreless over the final four and-a-half minutes of the first half, going on an 11-0 run to take a 48-28 advantage to the locker room at intermission.

E'Twaun Moore led a balanced Purdue attack with 18 points with JaJuan Johnson adding 16 as he Boilermakers improve to 11-0.

Mark Yelovich scored a game-high 23 points for Edwardsville as the Cougars lost their fourth in a row to fall to 2-10.

Purdue is off until Tuesday night when they open their Big Ten schedule at Iowa.
