Warren Leads Tigers Past Sycamores, 56-45

(BATON ROUGE, LA) - Storm Warren scored 14 points to lead the LSU Tigers to a 56-45 win over the Indiana State Sycamores in the first round of the NIT season tipoff in Baton Rouge.

Bo Spencer and Dennis Harris added ten points apiece for the 2-0 Tigers, who will face Western Kentucky tonight in the quarterfinal round.

Dwayne Lathan was the only Indiana State player to reach double figures with twelve points.

The Sycamores shot just 30 percent from the field in falling to 1-1.

Indiana State will take on Wisconsin-Milwaukee in a consolation-round game late this afternoon.
