Last updated on Thursday, November 19, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is the AFC offensive player of the week.

Manning passed for 327 yards and four touchdowns in the Colts' 35-34 come-from-behind victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday night football.

Two of the touchdown passes came in the fourth quarter, including a one-yard toss to Reggie Wayne with 13 seconds remaining that kept the Horseshoes perfect at 9-0.

It is the 20th time Manning has won player of the week honors during his twelve-year NFL career.

He was the AFC's offensive player of the month for September. The Colts came out of Sunday night's win over New England with an assortment of bumps and bruises.

Thirteen players did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Defensive backs Antoine Bethea and Aaron Francisco, offensive lineman Dan Federkeil, defensive lineman Eric Foster, wide receiver Pierre Garcon, tight end Gijon Robinson and long snapper Justin Snow sat with injuries suffered in the game with the Patriots.

Wide receiver Hank Baskett missed practice due to illness and Dwight Freeney sat out to rest.

The other players on the injury report, wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez, defensive back Kelvin Hayden, quarterback Jim Sorgi and kicker Adam Vinatieri, missed Sunday night's game due to injury.
