Hummel Leads Purdue Past Kentucky Wesleyan

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Robbie Hummel recorded team highs with 14 points and eight rebounds as the Purdue Boilermakers wrapped up their exhibition schedule with a 74-52 win over Kentucky Wesleyan at Mackey Arena.

The Panthers owned a 12-8 lead midway through the first half before the seventh-ranked boilers went on an 18-0 run to take command.

Patrick Bade and Ryne Smith reached double-figures with twelve and ten points, respectively.

Kwan Waller led Kentucky Wesleyan with a game-high 16 points.

The Boilermakers open their regular season on Friday night when they host Cal State Northridge.
