Last updated on Monday, November 9, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts remained unbeaten, but it took a missed field goal on the game’s final play to give the Horseshoes a 20-17 win over the Houston Texans.

The Colts opened the game by running a hurry-up offense, taking a 13-0 lead before Houston's Kris Brown connected on a 56-yard field goal on the final play of the second quarter to make the score 13-3 Indianapolis at intermission.

The Texans dominated play in the second half, taking a 17-13 lead on the first play of the fourth quarter on a Steve Slaton one-yard touchdown run.

The Colts responded by driving 61 yards for the go-ahead score with Joseph Addai running it in from two yards out to put Indianapolis up 20-17.

Houston managed to get the ball to the Indianapolis 24 in the final seconds, but brown hooked a 42-yard attempt at the gun to give the Colts the win.

The Colts improve to 8-0 heading to a Sunday night showdown with the New England Patriots.

The Texans fall to 5-4.
