(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The undefeated Indianapolis Colts return to practice Wednesday when they begin preparing for their Sunday clash with the 6-2 New England Patriots at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Head Coach Jim Caldwell held his weekly news conference on Monday and is trying to maintain a "business as usual" approach in his preparation for Sunday's game with the team that has arguably become the horseshoes' archrival.
Since Peyton Manning joined the Colts in 1998, Indianapolis has dropped twelve of their 18 games with the Patriots.
Only one of those losses has come since New England knocked the Horseshoes out of the 2004 playoffs with the Colts having won four of the last five meetings.
The Colts should know more about the status of wide receiver Austin Collie and running back Donald Brown when they return to practice tomorrow.
Collie suffered a neck injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over Houston but re-entered the game later.
Caldwell said he could not be definitive about Collie's status for practice this week.
Caldwell did say that Brown is feeling better and will be evaluated on Wednesday.
Brown has missed two games with an injury to his left shoulder.
