Last updated on Monday, October 26, 2009

(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Rookie running back Donald Brown, Cornerback Kelvin Hayden and Pro Bowl receiver Reggie Wayne spent part of their time sidelined by injuries Sunday against the Rams.

Brown suffered a sprained shoulder on his second carry of the game and spent all of the second half on the bench.

Hayden left the game with a neck sprain after picking off a Marc Bulger pass late in the game.

Wayne suffered a groin injury in the second quarter but did return, catching one pass in the second half.

Safety Bob Sanders, who made his 2009 debut following off-season knee surgery, headed to the locker room in the third quarter.

Sanders was not injured and was removed from the game as a precaution.
