(HOMESTEAD, FL) - Practice and qualifying for the IndyCar Series Season Finale is scheduled to take place today at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The season comes to a climax on Saturday with three drivers in contention for the series championship.
Defending Champion Scott Dixon holds a five-point lead over Ganassi Racing teammate and 2007 IndyCar Series Champ Dario Franchitti with team Penske's Ryan Briscoe lurking just eight points behind.
Dixon is the defending pole and race-winner.
