(ATLANTA, GA) - The Indiana Pacers open the 2009-2010 regular season tonight when they face the Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta.

The Pacers are coming off back-to-back 36 and 46 seasons under third-year Head Coach Jim O'Brien as the Blue-and-Gold look to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2006.

The Pacers are getting healthier, but will probably be shorthanded this evening.

Leading Scorer Danny Granger is listed as "doubtful" with a bone bruise on his heel and center jeff foster is still bothered by a sore back and could miss tonight's game.

TJ Ford, Luther Head and Travis Diener practiced on Monday.

All three missed the final preseason game against San Antonio last Friday.
