(FONTANA, CA) - Race four of the ten-race Chase to the Sprint Cup takes place Sunday at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
Mark Martin still holds the points lead but has seen his advantage shrink since winning the first race of the chase three weeks ago at New Hampshire.
Martin's edge over three-time defending cup champion Jimmie Johnson is down to 18 points. Johnson is the defending pole and race winner for the fall race at Fontana.
Juan Pablo Montoya, Columbus' Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch and Denny Hamlin are within 100 points of Martin with Jeff Gordon 103 points behind.
Practice and qualifying are scheduled for this afternoon.
