Indians And White Sox Split Doubleheader

(CLEVELAND, OH) - The Cleveland Indians and the Chicago White Sox split their doubleheader on Wednesday.

The Indians took the opener 5-1 behind a strong effort from starter Fausto Carmona.

Carmona allowed a run on five hits over seven innings to improve to 5 and 12.

Lou Marson drove in a pair of runs in the opener.

The White Sox took the nightcap 1-0 as Mark Buehrle and two relievers combined on a four-hit shutout.

Paul Konerko drove in the game's lone run with an RBI single in the sixth as Buehrle improves to 13 and 10.

Justin Masterson threw a complete-game four-hitter for Cleveland as he drops to 4 and 10.
