(CLEVELAND, OH) - Before the start of Wednesday's doubleheader, the Indians announced that Manager Eric Wedge and his staff will not be back in 2010.

Wedge will continue to manage the team through the end of the 2009 season, which ends on Sunday.

The 41-year-old Wedge has managed the Indians since 2002 and was the American League's Manager of the Year in 2007.

The past two seasons have been marked by losing and trades involving Cleveland's high-profile players, including CC Sabathia in 2008 and Cliff Lee and Victor Martinez this year.
