(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Former Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon will return to Panther Racing in 2010.
Wheldon is coming off his least-productive season in the Indycar series, finishing tenth in points with no wins, no poles, three top five finishes and nine finishes in the top ten.
His best finish was second place at Indianapolis.
A release from Panther did not reveal whether Wheldon's deal will go beyond the 2010 season and says that sponsorship details for the number-four car will be released in the coming weeks.
