Fever And Mercury Square Off In Game Two

(PHOENIX, AZ) - The Indiana Fever and the Phoenix Mercury square off in game two of the WNBA finals tonight in Phoenix.

The Mercury hold a 1-0 edge in the best of five series, going overtime to defeat Indiana 120-116 in game one on Tuesday.

The Fever will be looking for more offense out of Tamika Catchings tonight. Catchings fouled out early in overtime with just eight points in the opener.

Katie Douglas and Ebony Hoffman helped offset catchings lack of scoring with 30 points and 27 points, respectively.

Cappy Pondexter and Penny Taylor led Phoenix with 23 points with league MVP Diana Taurasi adding 22 on Tuesday night.

The series will shift to Indianapolis for game three on Sunday.
