Colts Return To Practice This Afternoon

Last updated on Monday, October 19, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will return to the practice field briefly this afternoon following four days off during the team’s bye week.

The Horseshoes are 5 and 0 heading to their game in St. Louis with the winless Rams on Sunday afternoon.

The Colts should know more about the status of their injured players when they hold a full-scale practice on Wednesday.

Cornerback Kelvin Hayden and Left Tackle Charlie Johnson should be ready for the Rams while Pro Bowl Safety Bob Sanders could be ready for his first game action of the year following off-season knee surgery.

The team is not sure if cornerback Marlon Jackson and wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez will be ready this Sunday.

Both Jackson and Gonzalez are recovering from knee injuries.
