(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Prince Fielder homered twice and drove in three as the Milwaukee Brewers finished their season with a series sweep of St. Louis, defeating the Cardinals 9-7 in ten innings.
Jody Gerut drove in the go-ahead run with a two-out infield single in the tenth.
David Freese drove in three runs for St. Louis as the Cardinals finish the regular season by going 1 and 6 after clinching the central division title.
The Redbirds open the playoffs on Wednesday when they face the Los Angeles Dodgers in game one of their National League Division Series.
