Twins Complete Three-Game Sweep

(CHICAGO, IL) - The Minnesota Twins kept pace with Detroit in the AL Central as they completed a three-game series sweep in Chicago with an 8-6 victory over the White Sox.

Nick Punto drove in three runs for the Twins, who remain 2 1/2 games behind the Tigers in the division.

Jermaine Dye hit a pair of two-run homers for the White Sox, who lost their fourth game in a row.

With the loss, the Sox' number for elimination in the playoff race is down to two.
