(SOUTH BEND, IN) - Notre Dame Football Coach Charlie Weis says fullback James Aldrich will miss Saturday’s game with Michigan due to a shoulder injury.
Aldrich suffered the injury in last week's win over Nevada and could also miss the September 19th game against Michigan State.
Robert Hughes will fill in for Aldrich this week in Ann Arbor.
Hughes missed the first half of the Nevada game as a disciplinary measure after being ejected for fighting in last season's game with southern California.
He had six carries for 20 yards in the second half against the Wolf Pack.
