(HAMPTON, GA) - Kasey Kahne took the lead on a restart with eleven laps remaining to win Sunday night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Kahne ran away from Kevin Harvick on the restart, beating Harvick to the finish line by more than 1.7 seconds.
Juan Pablo Montoya was third with David Reutimann and Mark Martin rounding out the top five.
With the win, Kahne jumped from eleventh place to sixth in points with one race remaining before the chase for the Sprint Cup begins.
