Manning Becomes Winningest Quarterback In Franchise History

Last updated on Tuesday, September 22, 2009

(MIAMI, FL) - With Indianapolis’ comeback win over Miami on Monday night, Peyton Manning became the Winningest quarterback in Colts franchise history, breaking a tie he shared with hall-of-famer John Unitas.

Manning's 119th career victory ties him with Unitas on the all-time wins list, Unitas had one win with the San Diego chargers in his final season.

The Horseshoes set a bizarre mark with the win as they had the ball for only 14 minutes and 53 seconds, the lowest time of possession for a winning team since time of possession has been kept as a statistic.

Tight end Dallas Clark also set a personal best with his 183 receiving yards.
