(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers open their college football season tonight when they host the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
The Hoosiers are coming off a 3 and 9 campaign in 2008.
The Colonels went 8 and 4 last season and were champions of the Ohio Valley Conference.
They are ranked 24th in the preseason football championship subdivision poll.
Tonight's game will be the first meeting between IU and EKU on the football field.
