(SOUTH BEND, IN) - Notre Dame’s loss to Michigan last Saturday at the “Big House” cost the Fighting Irish a spot in the top 25 in this week’s USA Today coaches’ poll.
The Irish were ranked 20th before their 38-34 loss to the Wolverines on a last-second touchdown pass.
Michigan just missed out on making the top 25 as they were beaten out by Missouri for the final spot in this week's poll.
Notre Dame returns home to face Michigan State Saturday in South Bend.
The Spartans were upset on Saturday by Central Michigan.
