(CHICAGO, IL) - Ryan Dempster and Carlos Marmol combined on a four-hit shutout as the Chicago Cubs blanked the Milwaukee Brewers 2-0.
Dempster went eight innings, giving up four hits and a walk to improve to 10 and 8.
Derrek Lee gave Chicago the lead for good with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth off Milwaukee starter Jeff Suppan.
Kosuke Fukudome would add an insurance run in the eighth when his sacrifice fly scored Mike Fontenot from third base.
Suppan allowed a run on three hits over seven innings and took the loss, falling to 6 and 10.
The Brewers had their three-game winning streak snapped.
