Last updated on Friday, September 11, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts Head Coach Jim Caldwell says rookie Jerraud Powers will start at cornerback Sunday against Jacksonville in place of Marlon Jackson.

Jackson is coming back from knee surgery and is expected to play in Nickel situations.

Powers will be the first rookie corner to start for the Horseshoes since Ashley Ambrose in 1992.

Safety Jamie Silva and tight end Tom Santi are out with injuries and safety Bob Sanders is also expected to miss Sunday's game.

Rookie defensive tackle Fili Moala missed Thursday's practice with a knee injury while cornerback Tim Jennings was rested.
