(WESTLAFAYETTE, IN) - The Big Ten has suspended Purdue Guard Zach Reckman for Saturday’s game against Notre Dame.
Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany handed down the suspension after reviewing a late hit by Reckman after Northern Illinois' Sean Progar recovered a fumble late in the Huskies' 28-21 upset of the Boilermakers last Saturday.
Delany issued a statement saying Reckman's actions were unacceptable and could have triggered a larger incident.
