Bengals Quarterback Unsure On Starting The Game

Last updated on Thursday, September 3, 2009

(CINCINNATI, OH) - Bengals Quarterback Carson Palmer may or may not start tonight’s game against the Colts.

Palmer suffered a sprained ankle in Cincinnati's preseason opener and has missed the last two games.

The former USC Star did take snaps with the first-team offense during practice this week, but Head Coach Marvin Lewis may hold palmer out if he is not 100-percent healthy.

If Palmer is held out, JTO Sullivan and Jordan Palmer are expected to play one half each.

Among those who will miss tonight's game for Cincinnati are first-round draft pick Andre Smith.

The offensive lineman out of Alabama broke his foot in practice on Tuesday.

Wide receiver Antonio Chatman, cornerback David Jones and kicker Shayne Graham are also listed as "out" for tonight's game.
