Bengals Quarterback Possibly Sees Action Against Colts

Last updated on Wednesday, September 2, 2009

(CINCINNATI, OH) - Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer may see some action against the Colts tomorrow night.

Palmer has been throwing to teammates during practice this week, an indication that he could see some playing time.

Palmer sprained his left ankle in Cincinnati's first preseason game against New Orleans and missed the next two games.

Rookie offensive tackle Andre Smith will not play against the Colts.

The sixth-overall draft choice out of Alabama broke his foot during a non-contact drill on Tuesday.

Smith had finally come to terms on a contract on Sunday, ending a 30-day holdout.
