Pavano Solid As Indians Clobber Tigers, 11-1

(CLEVELAND, OH) - Carl Pavano allowed one run over eight innings as the Cleveland Indians blasted the first-place Detroit Tigers 11-1.

Pavano gave up six hits to improve to 9-8 on the season.

Grady Sizemore and Asdrubal Cabrera hit two-run homers with Andy Marte and Trevor Crowe driving in two runs apiece as the Indians took two of three in the series.

Armando Galarraga gave up eight runs over five and two-thirds innings to take the loss, falling to 5-11.
