(BRISTOL, TN) - NASCAR races at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend as the Sprint Cup drivers prepare for Saturday night’s Sharpie 500.
Practice and qualifying are scheduled for this afternoon.
Carl Edwards is the defending pole and race winner.
Kyle Busch won the first race at Bristol this season back on March 22nd.
Tony Stewart is the points leader and has already clinched a berth in the chase for the Sprint Cup.
Hendrick Racing Teammates Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson are in a position to clinch chase berths with good finishes on Saturday night.
